New TV cameras thrill TV5

New television cameras have been installed in the university’s TV station.

The flip-style, adapter friendly mini-USB port cameras, manufactured by Zenith, feature 512K RAM and a shiny metallic shell.  The scratch-proof, twin sheet thermoforming lens is smaller than a dime.

“It’s amazing what you can do with plastic now-a-daze.  The entire camera is smaller than the lens on the old cameras,” said Video Professor Notorious Doctor Ess.

Student Zatchel Devildaughter observed, “The coolest thing is that the viewfinder can actually reverse.  I mean, you can point the lens at your face and see yourself in the viewfinder at the same time.  Genius!”

Once the funds were available, the cameras were purchased from the clearance bin at Walgreen’s.

“Those 23-years of brat sales finally paid off,” said V.P.N.D.E.  “That financially independent revenue stream bullsh*t really works, if you give it a chance. Putting students first, I guess, is worth it.   I’m kinda sick of brats, though.  That sucks.  But with my sugar addiction, I don’t need the extra fat.  Is that random or what?”

Media Stubbies Department stool King Arthur says a few things still need to be done before students can touch them.

“We have to email the Helpless Desk to tweak the binary code,” said King Arthur.  “That work order should be completed within 181 days, per policy.  Then, we have to find somebody in Medium Rare Service who’s actually willing to work and duct tape the cameras to the tripod thingys. The extra paperwork for the TOXIC committee will add another 10 months, at minimum, but we’re good with that.”

The TV station is located in the Pioneer Tower dungeon.  The old cameras, designed by Philo Farnsworth, have been shipped to the Early Television Museum in Columbus, Ohio.  University Administration is so thrilled with the resulting twelve-dollar tax deduction that they wet their collective panties.
