Dear Editor,
I desperately need help. My son, Barry Smalls, and I have become prisoners in our own dorm as Warren Peace and Cherry Lemon are wreaking havoc upon us. This once-peaceful living environment has turned into a nightmare, and action needs to be taken.
Everything was fine at the beginning of the semester, with my roommates and I sharing a dorm that was meant to be a place of learning, growth and mutual respect. But Warren and Cherry, over time, proved to be uncontrollable. They seem to take pleasure in making my life miserable, disregarding the principles of coexistence and respect that we all should have upheld.
The kitchen is slowly filling with Ozzi containers. I can’t even open the cupboards in fear that they will come crashing down on me. I don’t even know where they came from; they just keep appearing. At first, it was just a few, and I thought they might be useful for storing leftovers and snacks. But now, they’ve taken over every available space, and I can barely find a spot to prepare a meal.
My poor little Barry Smalls has endured so much suffering in the past few months. He sits on the counter, patiently waiting for Warren or Cherry to give him a little bite of their food, but they refuse to give him any. The echoes of his mournful cries reverberate through the dorm, but they don’t show any sympathy.
They often get worse at nighttime. I once heard stomping coming from the kitchen shortly after I had retired for the night. Upon further investigation, I saw Warren and Cherry performing what appeared to be a ritual or séance of some sort. They faced each other in the middle of the room and stomped around, muttering under their breaths. While I’m not exactly sure of the purpose behind this odd behavior, it sure is disturbing.
Conversations and attempts at reasoning with Warren and Cherry have been fruitless. They seem to revel in their disruptive behavior, showing no signs of remorse or empathy. It is clear that this situation can no longer be ignored. The pursuit of a peaceful and respectful living environment has turned into a battle for the basic rights to safety, security and a peaceful living space. I hope you can help them find the error of their ways.
Sincerely,
Barry Biggs
