What is it?
Clay club is a group of people who enjoy learning about and working with clay. We have lots of space to hand carve or throw (spin clay on the wheel).
Who can join?
All students are welcome to join clay club! This club is not just for art students, but all students with an interest in clay. There is a small fee so that your work can be fired, but this is for the entire academic year.
Meetings
Our meetings run from 6-10 p.m. every Thursday night. Until right before finals week, our meetings will be open style where you can be there any time in this range. We have a lot of experienced students who are willing to help newcomers learn.
Events
One upcoming charity event will be Empty Bowls on November 19th. The club will provide a bunch of bowls, and the community provides chili in a chili competition! Each bowl is priced the same and all of the profit goes to the food pantry.
