What is it?
Platteville Film Club is a student-run club centered around viewing, discussing and making films and short films. The goal of this club is to provide our university with a forum for film discussion and production, in service of all Pioneer film buffs.
Who can join?
Any student (or faculty member) can join if they have any interest in watching, discussing, or making films.
Upcoming events
Halloween Horror Movie Marathon, end of October (still being planned by the club)
Meetings
Every Wednesday 5:30 p.m., weekly
Note from president
Platteville Film Club is a brand new club this semester. As such, many things are being figured out as we go. If you have any interest in film at all, I would encourage you to come to one of our meetings, meet everyone, learn a bit about how our club works, and decide if it’s for you. Our club is casual, so don’t feel pressured to attend every week or feel that you have to be a film scholar to be a part of the club. No matter what your level of knowledge on film, Platteville Film Club would love to have you attend!
