What is it?
Ag Business Club is an agricultural club on campus that provides students with the opportunity to network with industry professionals, learn about internships and scholarships as well as competition conferences and community service opportunities.
Who can join?
Any students can join the Ag Business Club. Even if you are not an ag business major or an agriculture major, you are more than welcome to join and learn more about what the club does and the opportunities you can gain from being a member.
Meetings:
Meetings are the first and third Wednesday of every month in Russell Hall room 122 at 6 p.m.. Our final meeting this semester is Dec. 6 where we will have a game night after the meeting. We hope to see some new members there!
Note from the President:
Ag Business Club has allowed me to grow as a leader by holding the presidential position for two years, running meetings, planning events and recruiting new members. I have met so many people since joining the club as a freshman and because of that I have been able to make great friendships with each officer, member and industry professional who comes in to speak to our club. I have loved being an Ag Business Club member because of all the opportunities and I am looking forward to putting a team together to compete at the NACTA conference in the spring to put our agricultural skills to the test. I encourage any student to join the club because of the great opportunities you will be exposed to as well as the friendships you will make along the way. If you have any more questions, please reach out to me or another one of the officers. Sincerely, Makayla Ramberg
