“Deadpool & Wolverine” is the newest movie released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is one of the most popular movies of the summer. The movie is a continuation of the 20th Century Fox X-men movies. Many fans of the series were skeptical about there being another Deadpool movie after 20th Century Fox was purchased by Disney. Disney decided to bring Deadpool and his movies into the MCU, but to also give fans something they have always wanted: a Deadpool and Wolverine pair-up.
After the events in “Deadpool 2”, anti-hero Wade Wilson is going through a midlife crisis after getting rejected by the Avengers and broken up with by his long-term girlfriend, Vanessa. However, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) abducts him and tell him that he has been called for a greater purpose as his universe is sentenced to death. Wade finds out the one way to save his world is to get a new Wolverine and survive the Void. But the Wolverine that Wade grabbed is the worst in the Multiverse, and the odds are against them on this quest to get out the Void.
This movie has a lot of cameos and easter eggs for those hardcore X-Men or Marvel fans. There is also humor, fourth-wall breaks, and lots of action.
