TikTok has helped make many pop stars over the past couple of years, one of them being David Kushner. He started releasing music in 2022 with “Miserable Man,” and a lot of his songs led to TikTok trends. Because of his popularity, he has opened for several people like Dean Lewis and Lewis Capaldi.
“Footprints I Found” is a seven-song Indie album focused on love, loss and new beginnings. His vocals are pained and haunting but have a beautiful tone, and the background music is stellar as well. The songs tend to be simple; they are very emotional and are something people can connect with. Songs like “Miserable Man” talks about being stuck in a small town, “Burn” talks about burnout and “Mr. Forgettable” talks about forgetting and being left behind, it is clear to see why people love and connect with these songs.
