Gokul Gopalakrishnan, 36, Platteville, was cited for improper display of registration tags after being pulled over in the Southwest Hall parking lot.
Diane M. Duffey, 62, Platteville, will be mailed a citation for shoplifting at Wal-Mart after a loss prevention employee requested officer assistance.
Feb. 5
Aaron D. Whites, 25, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested for an outstanding warrant from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department after a complainant reported Whites shoplifted from Wal-Mart. Whites was also issued a citation for retail theft less than $5.
Feb. 6
Lindsay J. McKernan, 29, Platteville, was cited for an unregistered vehicle and given a written warning for driving without liability insurance.
Feb. 7
Devonte S. Arms, 21, Platteville, was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension, operating a vehicle without liability insurance and failure to stop after an accident after hitting a parked car at Kwik Trip.
Melissa A. Ritschard, 20, Argyle, was cited for underage drinking, public intoxication and ID card violations after an officer saw her kneeling outside of a car vomiting at the intersection of Markee Avenue and Southwest Road.
Danny J. Wunderlin, 57, Platteville, was arrested for disorderly conduct after brandishing a knife inside Char Bar.
Nicholas B. Harnish, 24, Menomonie, was cited for operating a vehicle without liability insurance after a two-car accident occurred on Business Hwy 151. No injuries were reported.
Feb. 8
Daniel J. McLaughlin, 39, Dodgeville, was cited for following too closely in an automobile after a two-car accident on Business Hwy 151. No injuries were reported.
Travis J. Meyers, 23, Lake Mills, was arrested for drunk driving and failure to obey a traffic signal after being stopped for driving on Second Street after the street was closed. Caleb A. Zastrow, 18, Platteville, was in the car with Meyers and cited for underage drinking.
Feb. 9
Jason A. Gorham, 30, Dodgeville, was arrested for simple assault after a complainant called the police. After bond was not posted, he was transported to jail.
Emily E. Cargill, 31, Lancaster, will be mailed a citation for an open intoxicant. An officer saw Cargill walking in the middle of Second Street with an open plastic cup, which she said contained vodka and Red Bull.
Feb. 10
Tina R. Bigger, 45, Darlington, was cited for retail theft after she was detained for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
Kyle J. Krauss, 29, Green Bay, was mailed a citation for not having his vehicle windows reasonably clean after a two-vehicle accident on Chestnut Street.
Tanya L. Ruby, 21, Lake Geneva, was cited for a motor vehicle equipment violation.
