Automotive Enthusiast Club held their spring 2024 car show in the Russell Hall parking lot on May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Over 100 cars and motorcycles were in attendance, with winners voted on by spectators in the following classes: Best in Show, Classic American, Modern American, Offroad/Truck, JDM/Asian, Sport Bike, Cruiser Bike, Fun and Funky and Euro categories.
Vendors were also present at the show including Myson’s Taco and Burritos truck and Frassati’s Coffeehouse.
“We put on the car show to bring the community together, raise some funds for the club and bring some awareness to cars, motorcycles and anyone that is interested in them. Put on a show for the town,” Vice President JC Heinrichs said.
AEC holds their next car show on Saturday Oct. 5 along with Wings and Wheels in the fall semester.

A young onlooker watches the cars. “I organized the entire show, from the vendors to the parking lots, down to the pre-registration. This was my first time fully planning it on my own, and it was an absolute blast to plan,” Event Coordinator Taylor Lawrence said.
