What is it? The Exponent is the UW-Platteville student-run newspaper that publishes a physical newspaper and on the uwpexponent.com website every Thursday. We publish campus news, features, movie, book and album reviews and more. Semesterly, we publish the Antagonist, our comedic insert similar to the Onion, and the Raven Revived, a creative works publication showcasing poems, short stories, photography and more.
Who can join? Any UW-Platteville student can join regardless of their major. We are not just about writing. We have graphics, layout and photography.
Upcoming Events: In the fall, we will be holding submissions for the Antagonist during Halloween time.
When are our meetings? Our business meeting are held on Mondays at 6 p.m. (location not determined at time of publication) and production nights are on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. (location not determined at time of publication)
