Chocolate Shake
This recipe can help you satisfy your sweet tooth with a “healthy” milkshake! The sweetness of overripe bananas makes added sugars unnecessary, and the milk can be swapped out for soy or almond milk for those avoiding dairy. You can also add peanut butter, chia seeds, or protein powder for some extra nutrition.
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas (overripe are best)
1 cup milk (use more or less to get a
thinner/thicker shake)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Optional:
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds (hydrated)
1 scoop protein powder
Directions:
Break your frozen bananas into 1-2 inch chunks and put into a blender.
Add cocoa powder and any other mix-ins.
Pour your milk over the ingredients.
Blend until smooth.
Drink as-is or with whipped cream, extra cocoa, or whatever you want! I’m not your mom! Go crazy!
