The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Foundation received a $7,000 grant award from AT&T on January 28 to improve the cyber security course within the UW-Platteville Criminal Justice Department. The grant will also be used to assist in developing on online graduate course in cyber security.
AT&T thrives to be a leader in helping businesses protect their online information. Through the AT&T Wisconsin Innovation and Investment Award program, UW-Platteville became the 12th recipient of an award to enhance education on cyber crime.
UW-Platteville hosts one of the top rated criminal justice programs in the nation. The standard is expected to rise with new books, teaching programs and research through the funds provided.
