How old were you when you started playing basketball?
I started going to open gyms with high schoolers when I was in Kindergarten.
Who inspired you to compete in basketball?
My parents and siblings inspired me. I grew up surrounded by sports and had a love for many, but basketball is what I fell in love with the most.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself beginning a career in law enforcement with a department in Wisconsin. I would also love to stay connected to basketball by volunteering as a coach in a local community.
What do you do outside of basketball and school?
I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, water skiing, golfing and being with friends.
Do you have any advice for new recruits attempting to join the team?
The transition from high school to college athletics is a huge adjustment. It requires even more commitment and a lot of time goes into workouts, practice, games, film, traveling, personal workouts and schoolwork. It is important to be organized, stay on top of things and have a good work ethic and commitment. College athletics provide a great way to meet friends and staff members, great experiences and amazing opportunities. They are worth every minute of the hard work.
