Feb. 16. 2023 Blurb of the Week

To be completely blunt, I am not a huge poetry person. When my friend loaned me her copy of Logan Duane’s ‘The Things I Didn’t Say in Therapy’ I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. However, the book is a short, entertaining adventure detailing Duane’s experiences with grief, love, abuse and self-discovery. Some of the poems in the book were extremely close to home and had a much more profound effect on me than I first thought when I started reading. It was a surprisingly emotional read and something I would recommend to poetry readers and people such as myself who do not read poetry that often.
