The Exponent, to celebrate our new website, has launched podcast episodes! Some of the podcasts will go over the events around Platteville and Grant County. Some also include interviews with UW-Platteville staff and officials. To navigate the podcasts, scroll down to the bottom of the homepage to listen to the newest episode.

The newest podcast presents an interview with Chancellor Dennis Shields. The Exponent was able to ask about Homecoming and how everything came to be. The Chancellor highlights COVID-19 and what the campus is doing to encourage vaccination. It was a fantastic discussion and very informative!

In the first half of November, another podcast will be released detailing the “Pig Dig” that the Forensic Investigation and Criminal Justice Department hosts to demonstrate decomposition. Professor Sara Getz will be interviewed about her experience leading the event and the attendance.

This event is taking place the first weekend of November at the Forensic Investigation Crime Scene House. The Pig Dig is a yearly event and part of the Outdoor Crime Scene Processing class.
