The Exponent has two more podcast coming out this week! UW-Platteville held a very special event for Forensic Investigation students. Professor Sara Getz spoke to the Exponent and described how the event went. 

The Exponent also interviewed Eric Fraser, an FBI agent from Milwaukee who visited the Forensic Anthropology Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Fraser detailed his experience on the Evidence Response Team, the FAC and important factors in decomposition. 

The FAC hosts classes for state and federal agents to study decomposition and bone recovery. The FAC celebrated 20 years of training the FBI Evidence Recovery Team and has an informational video on their homepage. 

The second podcast episode this week is another episode of History of Words with Elizabeth Dustman. In this episode, she discusses the history of the word “fridge” and why there is a “D” in its spelling.
