This year’s Rainbow Rave included a variety of performers, ranging from those who were just starting out to seasoned professionals. Drag kings and drag queens walked the stage and put on an amazing show for the crowd. Key City Pride performers Rio S. Suave, Artemisia Vanho, Logan Blewz, Baylee U. Diamond, Kylie Cass, Jonny B., KhrisStyle Infiniti-Ross, Gretch Grimm-Deville, Nevae Love, Kayos Mirage, Mimi Sanchez, Zavie A. Suave and Ben Siren performed at the show. The drag show also had a surprise performer on the poster who competed on the show “Rupaul’s Drag Race”: Naysha Lopez!

Performers danced and entertained the audience to various songs all the way from “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X to “Dear Theodosia” from the musical Hamilton. Rio S. Suave was the host for the whole event and encourages the audiences that attend drag shows to give the performers “cheeseburgers.” “Cheeseburgers” are tips that support the performers to keep doing what they love. Fusion X performed an amazing halftime show during the intermission to earn their “cheeseburgers.”

Another form of support for the drag show and conference came from the sponsors. A thank you was given to Ye Old Tattoo Shoppe LLC, Momentum Bikes and Badger Brothers Coffee for helping The Alliance put on the drag show. Another thank you was given to members of The Alliance, OSMA, volunteers and all those who came to the show. The Alliance would like to see an even larger audience at the next Rainbow Rave and hope to have many of the performers back.
