As the first half came to a close, the Pioneer’s Samuel Herkert kicked a 32-yard field goal, finishing the half with an 11-point lead.}

^{In the third quarter, both teams fought hard for the lead. The Falcons added 7 points to the scoreboard with a touchdown and a 2-point conversion. The game was almost tied for the rest of the third quarter, but Pioneer’s Mark Johnson caught an 80-yard pass from Collin Schuetz and scored a touchdown alongside another kick from Pratl. This ended the quarter with a score of 31-21.}
