How old were you when you started playing rugby?

I was 19 years old.

What inspired you to start playing rugby?

I always thought that the sport was cool, and I played a variety of sports growing up. I joined to see if I would like it or not, and I fell in love with it.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I am hoping to see myself on a good career path, possibly in a different state and hopefully playing on a rugby team for fun.

What do you do outside of rugby and school?

Outside of playing rugby and studying, I am a specialist in the Army National Guard.

What advice would you give to new players interested in rugby?

If I were to give advice to people joining, I’d say they shouldn’t be scared.  It is super fun, and you make a lot of new friends. Not many people knew what they were doing when they joined.  I had no clue how to play or any of the rules, so don’t let that stop you from joining.
