McGregor hall held their annual Duncan Diner on Feb. 22 to collect canned goods and funds for charity.

This event is one of the oldest traditions at UW-Platteville, in which students either pay $1 or donate a canned food item. With the donation, students receive a hot dog, a bag of chips and a milkshake. Money collected goes to the United Way of Platteville while the canned goods go to Pioneer Pantry.

Duncan Diner is a great and easy way to support the community, with many Platteville students attending the event.

The Duncan Diner is a tradition that will continue for years in the future. These events have helped many different charities in the past, and the donations truly do help those that are in need.
